Our Supported Charities

Reforestation

One Tree Planted is a non-profit environmental tree planting charity that plant trees in countries around the world. One dollar plants one tree.

Sustainable development

Empowering communities to achieve a sustainable future by providing a hand UP, not a hand out since 2003. Ripple Africa runs large-scale Environmental projects and smaller scale Education and Healthcare projects in Malawi including tree planting, fuel-efficient cookstoves and fish conservation. The charity’s overriding aim is to empower communities so they themselves can achieve a sustainable future – they strongly believe that it is the local people who are the solution to many of the challenges they face.

Green Energy and Poverty Alleviation

SolarAid is an international charity founded in 2006 to combat poverty and climate change. Through their social enterprise, SunnyMoney, they provide access to solar lights in Malawi and Zambia to help catalyse solar markets with renewable light.

600 million people in Africa alone have no access to electricity. Without electricity families have no clean source of light, leaving millions to rely on expensive and dangerous alternatives.

Solar lights are safe, clean and affordable. It is a small, but smart innovation which gives off hours of light in the evening so families can earn, learn and feel safe after dark. Just one lamp can transform the future for an entire family and is the first step out of poverty.

Global Forest Restoration

Veritree is a technology developed to bring transparency and accountability to global restoration through technology. They generate high-integrity investment solutions for our partners to feel confident investing in restoration solutions to contribute to the net-zero transition. Their goal is to plant well beyond 1 billion trees by 2030 with their partners, which includes the Cardano foundation.
